St. Andrew's By-the-Sea Episcopal Church                 Nags Head, North Carolina

Expansion of the 1916 National Register St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church included a new 400-seat sanctuary, new Parish Hall, classrooms and offices. Total added floor area was 14,000 square-feet. The new construction, and especially the new sanctuary, demonstrate sensitivity to the original chapel structure by remote placement, sympathetic vernacular form, and a contextual palette of materials. The construction portion of the project was recently completed by Virtexco.
