Outer Banks Brewing Station Kill Devil Hills, North Carolina The Outer Banks Brewing Station is a 7,700 square foot restaurant and brewery that was completed in June of 2001. This project was undertaken by a group of young entrepreneurs who envisioned a unique dining establishment with homebrewed beverages, designed with a commitment to "green" construction practices. They have created an environment which gives more than a casual nod to the notion of "reduce, reuse and recycle." A state of the art on-site waste water treatment plan (designed by Albemarle Engineering) is an integral element of the original design. Cahoon & Kasten was actively involved from the onset of the project providing preliminary design, design development, construction documents and construction administration.
